British prime minister openly stood up for law enforcers who beat up citizens

The head of the British government, Boris Johnson, has criticized protesters against the scandalous Police Act, calling their performances “disgraceful”

As previously reported by News Front, a rally of many thousands was held in Bristol the day before, ending in clashes with the police. A video from the scene shows security forces beating protesters with batons and shields, as well as setting dogs on them.

“I fully support the police”, –  Johnson commented on the incident.

He also criticised the use of pyrotechnics and various improvised items to attack security forces.

On March 13, 33-year-old Sarah Everard was murdered in London. She was the victim of an acting law enforcement officer, leading to widespread social unrest. In order to quell the protests, the authorities drafted a bill that would give the police new powers to set time and noise limits for street protests.
