Biden made the wrong move – North Korea reveals targets of recent missile launch

US faces ‘something bad’ if it continues to apply pressure policy on North Korea

As reported by News Front, the day before the North Korean military conducted a test launch of two missiles of a “new type” that hit targets at a distance of 600 kilometres.

The tests were the first since Joe Biden became US president and the Democrat did not miss the opportunity for another round of destructive criticism of Pyongyang. The White House chief accused the DPRK of violating a UN Security Council resolution.

In response, Ri Pyong Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the DPRK Workers’ Party, recalled how the US, together with South Korea, regularly conducts provocative military maneuvers on the peninsula using advanced weaponry.

“We express our deep concern that the US chief has found us guilty of regular test firing – an exercise of our state’s right to self-defence – in violation of UN resolutions, openly showing his deep-rooted hostility”, –  the official said.

He called Biden’s criticism an “undisguised encroachment” on North Korea’s rights, adding that Washington risks facing “something bad” if it continues with such policies.

“We are in no way developing weapons to get anyone’s attention or to influence anyone’s policies”, –  Ri Pyong-chol said. – “I think the new US administration has obviously taken the wrong first step.”
