The aggregate public debt of Ukraine increased by 0.74% to $91.41 billion in February 2021, according to the Ministry of Finance
This is evidenced by the Ministry of Finance of the country.
“During February, the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar slightly strengthened, which led to a decrease in public external debt in hryvnia equivalent by UAH 11.2 billion, while the public internal debt increased by almost an equivalent amount – UAH 11.15 billion”, – the Ministry of Finance reports.
According to the ministry, direct public debt in dollar terms rose by 0.95% in February this year to $81.05bn. Foreign direct debt rose by 0.2 percent to 44.32bn dollars.
