The Baltic States expanded the sanctions list against officials of Belarus, accused of human rights violations
The list was added up with 118 people who are now banned to enter Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, reported the press service of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, March 25. We are talking about employees of the Belarusian internal affairs and justice structures, as well as institutions of regional government.
The entry ban to Latvia is now imposed in relation to 277 Belarusian officials in total, while in Estonia and Lithuania – 274 persons

“We consistently condemn the actions of those who abuse their official position and power and use them against their compatriots”, – said Lithuanian Interior Minister Agne Bilotaite.
