Media: Iran launched missile attack on Israeli ship

Iran struck a cargo ship belonging to the Israeli company XT Management. This was reported by Israel TV Channel 12

“A container ship sailing from Tanzania to India with cargo was hit by a missile fired by the Iranian military in the Arabian Sea in the early morning. The vessel was damaged but continued on its way to its port of destination”, –  the channel said in a report.

The TV channel notes that the ship belongs to the Israeli company XT Management, whose office is located in Haifa. The company owner Udi Angel has been notified about the incident. The security agencies have received a report of the incident and, in light of several similar incidents in the recent past, are trying to assess whether Iran has opened a new front against Israel at sea, the publication said. The ship will continue on its route, with repairs planned in India.
