Dodon accuses Sandu of wanting to hand Moldova over to external administration

The ex-president of Moldova was angered by the proposal of the current head of the republic to invite foreign prosecutors to the country

Igor Dodon has criticised Maia Sandu’s proposal to invite foreign prosecutors to investigate high-profile cases in Moldova, the Choice of Moldova tg channel reports.

“She has always wanted to hand the country over to external administration”, –  Dodon said on this occasion.

The PSRM president harshly criticised the initiative.

“A bad president is hindered by prosecutors. Work, comrade president, do not bullshit. Surrender the country to whom – Europeans, Romanians, Americans? What does it mean to introduce external administration in Moldova? She always wanted it, and it’s a big danger for Moldova. What kind of country will it be, what kind of independence? I am categorically against it”, –  he said.

Dodon expressed confidence that there are honest people in the system and noted that he considers Alexandru Stoianoglo to be just such a person.
