U.S. needs F-36 in order not to lose to Russia in the arms market

The United States is developing a new aircraft to brighten up its failure with the F-35, TASS military observer Viktor Litovkin said.

Not so long ago, the Pentagon announced the development of the F-36 Kingsnake generation “5 minus” fighter. The US Air Force Command noted that this aircraft meets all the requirements. In the future, it may replace the American F-16 Fighting Falcon. In an interview with PolitRussia, Litovkin said that in reality the United States is creating it for completely different reasons.

“Of course, it will officially replace the F-16, but in fact it will be called upon to brighten up the failure with their “best fighter in the world” – F-35. This miracle of technology, I recall, was published unfinished – it has 900 developments”, – the expert assured.

Another reason for the nervousness of the American command is the Russian Su-57, which after entering the arms market will not leave the United States a chance. In order not to lose to Russia, the Pentagon was actively engaged in the development of the F-36.

“The S-57 is better than American competitors in everything from combat capabilities to value for money. We have the most powerful radar, super-maneuverable engines. Finally, we have no shortcomings. And the Americans understand that with the full-fledged entry of our fighters into the market, we will get a tangible advantage”, – Litovkin explained.

In fact, the promising F-36 will replace the F-35. According to Litovkin, the Americans will not be able to save money on its production. The United States will spend at least $60 billion on design work alone, after which large costs will be associated with the production and operation of the fighter.
