U.S. and Germany did not resolve differences on “Nord Stream-2”

The disagreements between the United States and Germany over Nord Stream-2 persisted after the meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries, but they will not interfere with their cooperation. This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken after a meeting with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.

“Germany is one of our closest allies, we still have deep differences over Nord Stream-2, but we will not let this hinder our work on other issues for the benefit of the people of our countries”, – he said.
