Armenian parliament abolishes martial law

At a meeting on Wednesday, March 24, the Armenian parliament canceled the martial law introduced in the country on September 27, 2020.

As Sputnik Armenia writes, the draft decision on cancellation was proposed by the opposition factions “Prosperous Armenia” and “Enlightened Armenia”, the parliamentary majority supported it.

As a result, the decision was made with 118 votes in favor, one voted against, and another abstained.
