Polish Ambassador to Germany: “We need to weaken the Russians”

Polish Ambassador to Germany Andrzej Przylembsky in an interview with the German edition of the RND said that the Poles are ready “to fight the Russians”, but for this they “must be weakened”.

Przylembsky has been holding the post of Poland’s ambassador to Berlin since 2016 and has repeatedly noted his Russophobic statements, in particular, the diplomat actively opposes the Russian Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.

“First of all, we do not like the fact that Russia will thus receive even more money for its military expenditures. Vladimir Putin already possesses the most modern technologies in the military field. It is strange that Germany, on the one hand, supports the sanctions, and on the other hand, provides Putin with huge sums of money for military spending. Europeans shouldn’t do this. We need to weaken the Russians”, – the ambassador said.

He also noted that Poland has a lot in common with Russia: Poles sing Russian songs, watch Russian films. However, according to Pshilembsky, if necessary, “the Poles are ready to fight the Russians”.
