The United States intends to renew and revitalize the partnership within the NATO alliance, said US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“The United States wants to renew its partnership, first of all, with its NATO allies, to revive it, as it was before”, – TASS quotes Blinken at a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
He also said that he came to the meeting to express the US commitment to its allies.
Earlier, the acting US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Riker said that the new US administration intends to seek to strengthen NATO’s opposition to Russia.
