Russia to supply additional batch of Sputnik V vaccine to Kazakhstan

The authorities of Russia and Kazakhstan have agreed to expand the supply of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.

This was announced on Monday, March 22, by the press service of the head of the Kazakh government, Askar Mamin, following his meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow.

“Particular attention was paid to joint measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 and to mitigate the consequences of the pandemic for the economies of the two countries”, – the statement said.

It is also noted that the parties have reached an agreement on an additional supply of the Sputnik V vaccine to Kazakhstan.
