Research results show AstraZeneca less effective than BioNTech and Moderna

CNBC has published the results of a large-scale American study on the effectiveness of the British-Swedish vaccine AstraZeneca.

“The results of a large US study showed that the coronavirus vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford is 79% effective in preventing symptomatic diseases”, – writes CNBC.

According to a study conducted by American experts, Moderna and BioNTech vaccines are more than 90% effective.

Earlier it was reported that a number of European countries refused to use the AstraZeneca vaccine after information about the occurrence of blood clots immediately after vaccination appeared. However, despite this message, the European Medicines Agency spoke in favor of the further use of the drug in European countries.
