Taking into account the upcoming discussion at the European Council on March 25-26 of the problems of Russia-EU relations, Charles Michel touched upon a number of issues concerning the current state of affairs and the prospects for dialogue between Moscow and Brussels”, – the message says.
In a conversation with Charles Michel, Vladimir Putin assessed the unsatisfactory state of relations between the Russian Federation and the EU, which has developed due to the confrontational line of the European Union, the Kremlin press service reports.
“Vladimir Putin gave an assessment of the unsatisfactory state of Russian-EU relations, which has developed due to the unconstructive, sometimes confrontational line of partners”, – the message says.
At the same time, Vladimir Putin stressed his readiness to restore the normal format of interaction with the European Union, given his real interest, the Kremlin press service reports.

In addition, Vladimir Putin and Charles Michel discussed the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and the possibility of using the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, the Kremlin press service reported.
