A number of countries in Europe and around the world have previously suspended vaccination with AstraZeneca due to possible side effects, particularly blood clots
According to Korrespondent, the head of the Office of the Polish Prime Minister Michal Dworczyk told reporters that thousands of doses of the vaccine from the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca remain unused in Poland because citizens refuse to be vaccinated with the drug.
“In recent days, the number of people who register for vaccination with AstraZeneca vaccine has dropped by several tens of percent. We have several hundred thousand vaccines lying in the vaccination points and not being used because people did not show up”, – Dworchik said.
At the same time, the head of the office urged citizens to get vaccinated in order to overcome the pandemic.
