Putin to discuss Sputnik V deliveries abroad with the head of RDIF

More than 20 countries have approved the use of the Russian vaccine in the last month alone

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, on March 23, the Octagon channel has learned. The head of state is expected to discuss with the representative of RDIF the supply of the drug Sputnik V against COVID-19 abroad.

“The drug is already used in Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, San Marino, Serbia, Algeria, Egypt, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Tunisia, Mongolia, Bahrain, Montenegro, Moldova, Slovakia, The report says: “Sputnik V” has now become the second most accepted drug in the world (after AstraZeneca’s vaccine) in a number of African countries, most parts of Latin America, the Middle East, and other states.”

In addition, RDIF has reached an agreement to produce the drug in five countries. The vaccine will be produced in India, China, Brazil, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
