Britain’s government on Tuesday published a defence and foreign policy strategy. The strategy involves an unprecedented increase in defence spending and the intention to increase the number of nuclear warheads to 260.

“I would like to see a manifestation of responsibility on the part of the Western nuclear troika, it is high time they were called upon to abandon threatening rhetoric and move to practical engagement, including with Russia, on strengthening international security and enhancing strategic stability”, –  Zakharova said in a briefing.
