Laboratory tests of Sputnik V have been successfully completed in Slovakia

It is reported that the tests on guinea pigs and mice were carried out in the laboratory of a specialized pharmaceutical plant in eastern Slovakia. The authorities of the republic would like to place licensed production of Covid-19 vaccines at this enterprise, including Sputnik V.

According to EADaily, laboratory tests of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine have been successfully completed in Slovakia. This was reported on March 16 by local media.

Recall that in early March, Slovakia, without waiting for the registration of the Russian drug in the EU, purchased it to vaccinate the population. This caused a government crisis in the country. On March 11, the Minister of Health of Slovakia, Marek Krajci, resigned in order to resolve differences in the country’s government coalition. On March 16, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Milan Krajniak also resigned from his post.
