Expert criticizes American ambassador for interfering in the internal affairs of Moldova

The status of a diplomat does not entitle US Ambassador Derek Hogan to intervene in the political conflict in Moldova, to take sides, let alone dictate his desires, Moldovan political scientist Boris Shapovalov said, stressing that Hogan “is time to point directly at his place”.

“How long will the US Ambassador to Moldova interfere in the internal affairs of a small and poor but sovereign state?” – the expert asks.

He recalled that since 2009, through the efforts of the US and the EU, the oligarchic pro-European regime of Vladimir Filat came to power. Then, in 2016, they brought to power the gangster oligarchic regime of Vladimir Plahotniuc. Now, says Shapovalov, Hogan is trying to impose on Moldova another pro-American regime of Harvard graduate President Maya Sandu.

“The princess from Risipeni (the village where Maya Sandu is from) has an environment not much different from the teams of the destroyers of Moldavia Filat and Plahotniuc. Half of her associates, like Sandu herself, are from the same team, and the other half are young demagogues from non-governmental organizations under the general name “children of Uncle Soros”, – the political scientist said.

According to him, thanks to the advice of the US and the EU, they destroyed the beautiful “blooming garden” that Moldova was in the USSR and turned into a seedy European neo-colony.

“Mr. Hogan, better deal with the problems of your country, where it is simply dangerous to walk in cities, where racial and social intolerance flourishes, and human rights are violated. Americans have internal problems and conflicts which are really numerous. Put things in order first in your native land, and then climb with your wishlist to other countries”, – summed up Boris Shapovalov.
