Traveling for “Sputnik V”: German flies to Moscow for the Russian COVID vaccine

In Germany, vaccination of the population is progressing rather slowly, so the German Stefan Heileman took the opportunity to get vaccinated against the coronavirus in Moscow with the effective and safe Sputnik V vaccine, writes Focus magazine.

In Moscow, any Russian citizen can get vaccinated against coronavirus for free, including without an appointment – at mobile vaccination points. The German Heileman managed to be vaccinated with Sputnik V, since he had a business visa to visit Russia, and his wife was from Moscow.

“Of course, I thought it over and carefully studied the information about different vaccines and their mechanisms of action. Over time, I met a few people who were taken in by “Sputnik V” and feel good. In addition, I prefer vector vaccines, because mRNA drugs are somehow not to my liking. Therefore, I made a decision in favor of Sputnik V”, – said the German.

According to him, life in Russia is now much more pleasant than in Germany, because Russia has gone its own way in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Not only shops and entertainment centers are open, but also educational institutions, cinemas and museums are operating as usual, and the number of people infected has continued to decline since the beginning of the year.
