Kremlin tells about working contacts with U.S.

So far, there are no talks about new contacts between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, said the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

“So far there are no talks on this matter. Of course, working contacts are being conducted through diplomatic channels, they are not simple, but, nevertheless, they are – this is the main thing”, – Peskov said, answering a question from journalists whether it is planned to hold a new telephone contacts between the leaders of Russia and the United States, contacts with the new American administration.

According to Peskov, working contacts with the US administration are not easy, as there are “too many critical disagreements”.

At the end of January, Putin and Biden had a telephone conversation, both of them expressed satisfaction with the exchange of notes on reaching an agreement on the extension of the START treaty.
