Ukraine pays IMF more than $200 million in a month

In February of this year, Ukraine paid $213 million to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“In February, the government and the National Bank paid $213.1 million (equivalent) to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) – the return of the body and interest. Commitment fee was not paid during this period”, -the National Bank of Ukraine said.

After the work of the IMF mission in Ukraine last winter, the conditions for receiving the next tranche have become much greater. According to experts, Kiev should not expect to receive two tranches in 2021.
