Four NATO ships enter the port of Ukrainian Odessa

Four ships of the NATO permanent mine action group entered the port of Odessa.

It is reported that a Turkish command ship, as well as minesweepers from Spain and Romania, entered the port of Odessa. A meeting of the command staff of the group with the command of the Naval Forces of Ukraine is also expected. The commander of the detachment is Captain First Rank Yusuf Karagyulle.

In November 2020, Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced the need to strengthen NATO’s presence in the Black Sea.
