“I am not a killer” – Slovak Prime Minister rejects criticism of Russophobes over supply of Sputnik V vaccine

Despite the wave of criticism, the Slovak authorities will not refuse to purchase the Russian vaccine against coronavirus.

This statement was made by the Prime Minister of the country Igor Matovich.

He noted that against the background of the government’s decision to purchase the drug, Russophobic slogans about Putin’s “hybrid war” and so on began to sound. Despite this, the republic will use Sputnik V in the interests of the country’s citizens.

“Sputnik V will not fly back to Russia and will save lives in Slovakia. And, in truth, I would never have allowed them back. Never”, – said Matovich.

“I’m not a killer”.

As News Front reported, on March 1, Matovic confirmed the information that Slovakia had agreed with Russia on the supply of the Sputnik V vaccine. Later, against this background, a scandal related to Ukraine arose. The journalist asked the Slovak prime minister what he had promised Vladimir Putin in exchange for the vaccine. Matovich said that he promised to give Russia the Ukrainian Transcarpathia.
