Ukraine is the only European country that is in the group of economically unfree countries in the Fraser Institute’s Economic Freedom in the World rating. This is evidenced by the data on the website of the institute, published on Thursday, September 12.
Ukraine climbed three places in the ranking – from 138 to 135. There was a slight improvement in indicators such as government size, safe money and freedom of international trade, while the legal system and regulation began to decline. The worst remains the situation with safe money (159th in the world) and regulation (125th), and the best – with the size of government (43rd).
