Two cases of the “British” strain of coronavirus were officially confirmed in Ukraine, it was found in patients in Ivano-Frankivsk, the Segodnya website reports, citing the Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
“In Ukraine, two cases of the so-called British strain of coronavirus have already been officially confirmed. The new strain was found in two patients from Ivano-Frankivsk”, – the statement said.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 a pandemic. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, over the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, coronavirus was detected in 1,374,762 people, 1,186,873 patients recovered, and 26,591 deaths.
