Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin believes that the expansion of the Normandy format due to the US joining it will not bring any cardinal changes
“By the way, the Americans joining the Normandy format is not a solution. Just imagine: in France Marine Le Pen will be elected president, and in Germany instead of Merkel someone “more restrained” regarding Russia will come. Can you imagine negotiating with them?”, – Klimkin told European Pravda.
He urged us to stop hoping that with US President Joe Biden joining the Normandy format, “happiness will fall on Ukraine and everything will be great”.
