Iran has refused an offer by the European Union and the U.S. to hold direct talks on the nuclear program. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing two unnamed senior diplomats
“Iran has rejected an offer by the European Union and the US to hold direct talks on its nuclear programme in the coming weeks, risking a new escalation in tensions with Washington”, – the Journal said.
Recall that on 12 February, it became known that the United States had withdrawn former President Donald Trump’s administration’s statement on the renewal of sanctions against Iran.
