This recommendation to the relevant departments was agreed upon during the third meeting of the trilateral working group, which ended in Moscow, under the joint chairmanship of the vice-prime ministers of the three countries.
According to Interfax, the competent authorities of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will conduct an inventory of international treaties concluded within the CIS and with third countries on the implementation of transportation in the region and ensuring appropriate control over them.
“The parties reviewed the reports of the expert subgroups on rail, road and combined transport, as well as on the provision of transportation, including security, border, customs, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary and other types of control”, – Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Overchuk told the reporters.
“It was recommended the competent authorities of the parties to carry out an inventory of international treaties concluded within the CIS and international treaties concluded with third countries on the implementation of the above transportation”.
The parties agreed to hold the next meeting of the working group via videoconference on March 1, 2021.
