Expert: the USA sees Russia as a strong competitor

According to the Russian politician, ex-Senator Franz Klintsevich, the States will not stop the sanctions policy against Russia, as they consider it a strong competitor, FAN reports.

Earlier, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that the United States intends to impose new anti-Russian sanctions over the next few weeks.

Klintsevich believes that the real reason for US sanctions against Russia is the fact that the United States sees it as a serious competitor. He also stressed that the arguments that the States are using to develop new sanctions packages are far-fetched and illegal from the point of view of international law.

“Not only are these reasons far-fetched, they are illegal from the point of view of international law. And fortunately, it should be noted that today, especially Europe, with its tolerance and dependence on the United States, is already beginning to clearly understand this”, – said Klintsevich.
