Myanmar police dispersed protesters in the main city of Yangon on Friday, opening fire with firearms and flashbanged devices, according to eyewitnesses, in order to send people to escape, as opposition to the army’s attempts to restore its rule showed no signs of weakening. Democracy advocates hold protests and strikes every day for about three weeks.
