Vaccination of the elderly population against coronavirus with the Russian drug Sputnik V has started in Mexico, with the first vaccinee, 72-year-old Francisco Betanso, telling reporters that he is feeling well and waiting to receive a second dose of the drug.
“For the next 48 hours we were advised to rest and monitor my well-being. I feel very well now”, – Betanzo said as he walked out of the vaccination centre in the metropolitan area of Istacalco.
Asked if he knew what medicine the doctors administered, he said it was the “first Russian vaccine.
