The new sanctions the US has imposed against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline following a State Department report to Congress are “not the end of the story”, US foreign policy spokesman Ned Price said.
“What we filed on Friday is not the end of the story,” he said at a briefing. Price said the US was prepared to take “additional measures” against the project, if necessary, to meet the congressmen’s demands. “We will not hesitate to take them”, – he added.
