EU reveals who will be under influence of new anti-Russian sanctions

The foreign ministers of the EU countries agreed on the preparation of a new package of sanctions against Russia in connection with the fact that the court sentenced the fraudster Alexei Navalny to prison.

According to reports, the sanctions may affect the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov, the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov and the director of the Federal Service for the Execution of Punishments Alexander Kalashnikov.

On Monday, February 22, a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council is taking place in Brussels. Anti-Russian sanctions are one of the key topics on the agenda.
