“Vaccinating millions of people” – Slovak prime minister ready to buy Sputnik V

Slovak authorities are considering purchasing a Russian vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V

As News Front reported earlier, the Russian vaccine against Sputnik V coronavirus was the first of its kind. The West tried to compromise the drug by accusing Russia of rushing it, but opinion on Sputnik V has recently changed dramatically.

Russia is now working on registering its vaccine with the European Union, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel has offered to help Moscow with this. The European Commission has also made it clear that Commonwealth countries have the right to use the Russian drug, which Hungary has already taken advantage of.

Now the Slovak government is discussing the supply of Russian vaccine.

“I see no reason why we cannot use it here. With Sputnik V we vaccinate millions of people”, –  said the country’s Prime Minister Igor Matovic.
