According to a YouGov/Economist poll, the popularity of former US president Donald Trump continues to rise
“More than 87% of Republican Party members approve of Donald Trump’s actions. Only 12% view him negatively”, – said the poll results.
Vice President Trump’s Mike Pence also retains his popularity, with 78% of Republicans supporting him, while 16% view his actions negatively.
The other leaders of the Republican Party do not have such strong support. The most powerful Republican to date, Mitch McConnell, received a low rating from respondents: 36% say they support him, 51% view him negatively.
