Facebook has banned media outlets and residents of Australia from posting news links and watching local and international news, Facebook has said
Earlier, the Australian government proposed a bill that would see Google and Facebook pay money to the media for posting news content on their platforms. In response, Zuckerberg’s company immediately warned that if Australian authorities passed the law, the social network would cut off users’ access to news.
“I suppose Google will end up paying, otherwise it will lose the Australian market like it has already lost the Chinese market.
