Biden says he has spoken to all but one living former US president

The White House chief refused to reveal the names of exactly who he spoke to, citing the personal format of the conversations

US President Joseph Biden has held telephone conversations with all but one of his living predecessors. He said this while speaking at a public meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday evening.

During the event, Biden answered in the affirmative when asked about calls to former US presidents, and added that “all but one of them picked up the phone or called me.” The incumbent White House leader declined to reveal the names of any of his predecessors, citing the personal format of the conversations.

There are currently five former US presidents: Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
