On its pages it is honestly said about who, how and when Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Simferopol and Sevastopol were founded.
According to Unian, another “zrada” (betrayal – ed.) is brewing in the Ukrainian education. A scandal erupted in the network because of a new textbook on the history of Ukraine for the eighth grade, which says that “Russia founded Odessa, Dnepr, Simferopol and Sevastopol”.
“The Russians did not found cities there. They built fortresses for their garrisons, where there were no city dwellers. It is these theses of the founding of Ukrainian cities by Russians, and not of fortresses made of stone – this trend has been known since the times of the Soviet Union”, – the Ukrainian “historian” Alexander Alferov says.
As you can see, Ukrainian “scientists” are not aware of the existence of the so-called Burg (from the German “fortress”) theory of the emergence of cities, which appeared in Germany at the end of the 19th century. And they also do not know well how the ancient Slavic cities were built: Kiev, Chernigov, Smolensk, Vladimir and others, each of which began with a fortress, “chrome”. From this word came the famous Russian Kremlin.
