In official documents, this is called democratization.
As reported by the Telegram channel “Committee for the Protection of National Interests”, the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) intends to allocate more than 3.5 billion rubles for the democratization of Russia in the period from 2020 to 2024.
“In 2020, by the decision of the Swedish Government UD2020 / 01513 / EC, the Strategy for the Support of Democracy, Human Rights and the Environment in Russia for 2020-2024 was adopted. According to the text of the document, 3.5 billion rubles are allocated for these purposes”, – the message says.
“It is known that in 2020 the Swedish Institute co-organized a youth school in Vilnius, where journalists, political and public figures from Russia were invited to oppose “Harmful influence emanating from media sources in national and Russian languages”. The data on the amount of funding are not presented”.
In comparison with the previous year, both programs practically did not undergo any changes either in the content part or in the amount of funding. The spending of other funds allocated under the Strategy remains nontransparent.
