The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, despite US attempts to block construction, is more than 95% ready.
Such a statement on Sunday, February 14, was made by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak on the air of the TV channel “Russia 1”.
“Nord Stream-2 is a commercial project implemented primarily by foreign companies interested in gas supplies from Russia. A joint venture has been created by Gazprom, which has practically completed this project by more than 95%”, – he said.
The politician also stressed that the project will be completed, despite the US attempts to prevent this.
