Barely settling into the White House, a US presidential administration spokesman found himself at the epicenter of a scandal.
Less than a month has passed since Joe Biden officially took office as president, and his subordinates have already managed to note the abuse of their position. Thus, a White House press officer T.J. Daklo threatened a journalist who wrote material about the official’s romantic adventures.
“I will destroy you”, – the official told the Politico journalist, not confining himself to this threat.
When the incident became known, Daklo was removed from his duties. On Saturday, he resigned, as reported by the press secretary of the White House Jen Psaki.
“No words can express my regret, my embarrassment and my disgust for my behavior”, – Daklo himself commented on the incident.
