Military historian Yuri Knutov believes that Ukraine is building up its forces along the front line in the Donbas to conduct a direct attack, Nation News reports.
The expert notes that in Ukraine lately there have been more and more statements about the refusal of the Minsk agreements. Along with this, the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trained by instructors from NATO, and along the front line in the Donbas, Ukraine has assembled a fairly large group of troops.
“In my opinion, the blow will be delivered with the support of the armies of the NATO countries. Troops of the North Atlantic Alliance will have to assemble significant forces under the guise of exercises near Crimea, Kaliningrad and near the Khmeimim base in Syria. The easiest way to do this is during the Defender of Europe 2021 exercise”, Knutov said.
