The effectiveness of the US coronavirus vaccine has once again been questioned
A man in Lake Forest, California, has contracted the coronavirus infection after being vaccinated. Gray Michael had already received two doses of the vaccine from US pharmaceutical company Pfizer, but three days later he complained of feeling unwell. He himself did not even link his feeling unwell to COVID-19, but he tested positive.
When the incident came to light, it also turned out that the case was not the only one. Dr Tirso del Junco Jr, a spokesman for KPC Health said he was not surprised by what had happened.
“I have heard of six or seven similar incidents in the last three weeks”, – said the expert. – “In my opinion, we will only be hearing about such cases more often.”
What has happened only adds to the list of negatives associated with the Pfizer vaccine, which had raised doubts among experts from the start. The initial scepticism concerned storage conditions. The drug retained its properties at temperatures of around -70 degrees Celsius. With the introduction of the vaccine, other problems arose.
The first country to allow vaccination with Pfizer’s drug was the United Kingdom. The first side-effects also appeared there. Allergy sufferers faced problems and were eventually even advised to stay away from vaccination. Since then, problems with the drug have arisen in Germany, Greece, as well as Israel. In the States, the vaccine has killed at least 55 people.
