LPR representative in the political group of the Minsk negotiations Rodion Miroshnyk believes that the presence of a NATO military base in Poland is used more to “pacify” the “partners” themselves than to protect them.
Earlier it was reported that information was leaked to the Polish media about the results of the command-staff exercise “Winter 20-21” in which thousands of Polish and foreign officers took part.
On the fifth day of the “virtual conflict” with the notional “Russians” there was fighting for Warsaw, the “enemy” was on the Vistula line and the air force had ceased to exist despite NATO support.
“This scandal stirred up, first of all, Polish political elites, but did not lead to the conclusion that good-neighbourly relations with the Russian Federation were necessary. But it clearly showed that the presence of a NATO base on the territory is more for the comportment of the ‘partners’ themselves than for their protection”, – Miroshnyk believes.
