US President Joe Biden said during a visit to the Pentagon that the United States should resort to the use of military force on the world stage only in extreme cases
“The central and inherent mission of the [U.S.] Department of Defense is to deter aggression by our enemies and, if necessary, to fight and win wars to keep America safe. Well, I believe that force should be the last resort, not the first”, – the American leader said.
