Anti-government protests continue in Thailand

Anti-government protests have erupted again in Thailand.

The largest clashes between protesters and police occurred in the city of Patumwan. Protesters attempted to storm police stations there. Law enforcers used force and tear gas against the protesters. For the time being, the protests have subsided, but the situation remains tense. No injuries were reported.
The protesters’ main demand remains the reform of the monarchy in the country. Recently these demands have also been supplemented by the lifting of strict quarantine restrictions.
