EU countries agree to resell their surplus COVID vaccine to Ukraine

Deputy Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishina said that several countries of the European Union, among which there is one “very friendly” to Ukraine, have agreed to resell their surplus COVID-vaccine

 

Ukraine is ready to buy these doses.

She said that Ukraine is at the stage of finalizing consultations on re-selling some of the surplus vaccine it has already received from the EU.

The name of the “very friendly” country Stefanyshyna did not disclose, citing confidential information and promising “more details” in due course.

The deputy prime minister also expressed gratitude to the 13 European countries which, having no surplus of the coronavirus preparation, promoted the interests of our state in this matter.
