US congressman infected with coronavirus after being vaccinated twice with Pfizer

Representatives of the congressman clarified that he was injected with a second dose of the coronavirus vaccine before the inauguration of the new US President Joe Biden, which took place on January 20.

According to TASS, member of the US House of Representatives Stephen Lynch (Democrat, from Massachusetts) became infected with the coronavirus after he was vaccinated.

“Lynch passed the test on Friday, his result was positive. Shortly before that, one of his subordinates was also infected. The legislator has no symptoms of the disease caused by the coronavirus. Lynch intends to quarantine and carry out his duties remotely”, – CNN reported on Saturday, citing representatives of the legislator.

Representatives of the congressman clarified that he was injected with a second dose of the coronavirus vaccine before the inauguration of the new US President Joe Biden, which took place on January 20. Lynch received a vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech.
