Peskov: Putin’s “Davos speech” is the deepest analysis, which has not yet been presented by any world leader

According to the press secretary of the Russian president, Putin’s speech was not confrontational.

According to the tg-channel “House of Cards: Russia”, Dmitry Peskov commented on the reaction of Western colleagues to the speech of the Russian President at the economic forum in Davos.

“I cannot agree that Putin’s Davos speech is confrontational. This is an attempt to shout to the common sense of politicians. This is the same as the President’s Munich speech was taken with hostility and perceived as a kind of speech filled with confrontation. Not really. And this time, too, no confrontation, and no warning. This is the deepest analysis. Until now, no world leader has come forward with such an analysis”, – Peskov said.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, the Russian leadership regrets that Europe has thoughtlessly and unreasonably “throws into the trash” the potential of relations with Russia, since the current challenges dictate the need to develop a dialogue.
